For individuals struggling with addiction, incarceration can either be a dead end or a turning point. At Transforming Lives, we work to ensure it’s the latter by offering in-facility substance abuse meetings that foster connection, accountability, and hope.
These meetings follow proven recovery models and are led by mentors—often people in recovery themselves—who bring authenticity and empathy into each session. In the safety of these groups, participants are free to share, reflect, and begin the work of healing.
We coordinate closely with behavioral health units and facility staff to ensure consistency and support. Meetings are not one-offs—they’re part of a structured journey, designed to carry into reentry and community-based recovery programs.
Whether you’re in recovery, a counselor, or simply someone who believes in second chances, we welcome your help. Sponsor supplies, volunteer as a mentor, or just spread the word. Recovery starts here—and it starts with us.
