Semi-Annual Family Beach Days: Healing Through Togetherness

Healing after incarceration doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens in families, through time spent together, away from stress, judgment, and institutional walls. That’s the heart behind our Semi-Annual Family Beach Days.

These special gatherings give formerly incarcerated individuals and their loved ones a safe space to reconnect in the fresh air and natural beauty of Hawaii’s shores. There are no formal programs, just the simple power of presence: shared meals, games, laughter, and healing conversation.

We work hard to remove logistical barriers by providing transportation, meals, and childcare when possible. These days are about building memories—especially for children who may not have had many chances to bond with a parent during incarceration.

You can help make this happen. Sponsor a beach day, volunteer for setup, or donate supplies like food, sunscreen, or toys. Together, we create moments of joy that last far beyond the sand.
